She’s the founder of Athena Village, an online community that brings together heart- and soul-centered women through authentic stories, thoughtful questions, and soulful conversations. 5:40: Kelly’s online community started in 2016 when she had an idea for group coaching but didn’t want social media distractions. She explained how she found Mighty Networks and built the first iteration of her community.
18:21: Kelly talks about being a visionary with big ideas when it comes to starting projects and how powerful that can be when paired with a person who is good at the execution aspect. She also discusses how valuable early adopters and beta testers are during a launch to jump in and give feedback.
28:50: Kelly mentions that she finds personal twists appealing. She also mentions how powerful it is to tell stories and have authentic conversations in your community. She wants to create safe and private spaces where honest conversations can happen.
33:42: Deb and Kelly discuss the value of community, especially in her salon and village shop offerings, where members can help each other through their various zones of genius. Asking for help and feedback is especially valuable in running a community.
