Women Who Lead

In celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th, Community Strategist Deb Schell, Jamie Langskov, and Laura Zug had an interactive discussion about women who’ve inspired, motivated, and elevated them in times of challenge.

Below are some women mentioned and links to learn more about them and how to support, collaborate, and join communities to encourage women to continue to push boundaries for gender equality.

During the discussion, themes that came up included:

  • The importance of highlighting the women who came before us.

  • The bright and exciting future has so much potential for future females.

  • The challenges and what women have overcome to get where we are today.

  • The importance of setting boundaries in all aspects of life as women seem always to be asked to do so much, and many of us have a hard time saying “no” to things.

Women Who Lead
